A busy family of five, on the Upper West Side, needs to hire a warm, energetic, and adaptable Housekeeper / Cook / Childcare Assistant to join their existing household team. Working alongside additional housekeeping and childcare staff, this person will provide flexible, hands-on support across the family’s day-to-day household needs. Primary responsibilities include: maintaining the home through daily upkeep, family laundry, and overall household organization, organizing closets, drawers, the pantry, refrigerator, and other storage areas, packing and unpacking for travel, running household errands and shopping, including online ordering, overseeing vendors and contractors, handling deliveries and assisting with pet care for the family’s dog. The ability to lift approximately 30–40 pounds and safely use a ladder to access storage is required. The general schedule is Monday through Friday, 11am to 7pm, with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek. Flexibility is required for occasional weekend coverage, overnight care when the parents travel and accompanying the family on occasional trips.
