Position: Full Time, Live In, Live Out, Nanny

A family of three, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire experienced Nanny to help care for an infant.  Responsibilities include: engaging the child in age-appropriate, educational play monitoring developmental milestones, escorting the child to outdoor activities, keeping  the nursery clean and organized, laundry for the baby, maintaining the baby’s clothing, equipment and whatever else is required. This candidate will be taking over from the Babynurse and the baby is on a great eating and sleeping schedule.   Must be passport ready as there is frequent travel throughout the year September-end of May. Schedule is Monday – Friday (flexible schedule).  During the summer the position shifts to live in between Thursday and Sunday with two days off during the week.  Most holidays are spent travelling.  Salary range: $35-40 per hour base plus health insurance or a stipend. Position: Caregiver, Live Out, Part Time

A family, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire an experienced Special Needs Caregiver to assist with the care of their young adult . Responsibilities include: assisting with daily activities, dressing and, potentially in the future, bathing, which is currently managed by the parents. The role also involves engaging in developmentally appropriate activities and supporting her emotional well-being. The caregiver will handle all tasks related to the daughter’s care, including cleaning her room and bath and managing her laundry. Cooking simple, nutritious meals and snacks for her is a key responsibility – cooking occasionally for the parents is a plus. The caregiver will also run household errands, do grocery shopping for the family, and be asked to do light housekeeping in the apartment. The family has a primary housekeeper several days a week for deep cleaning of the general household but the caregiver is expected to pitch in with supplementary light housekeeping as well.

The caregiver must be comfortable communicating via text, as this a key way of communicating with the parents when outside the home. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, particularly those with behavioral challenges. They should be calm, patient, and capable of managing agitation or distress with a steady demeanor. Strong communication skills in English are required, as the adult is verbal but not fully conversational. The candidate should be physically fit as the adult, who is petite but strong, can walk sometimes at a brisk pace, and the caregiver should be able to keep up with her. The family seeks someone who is polished, professional, and adaptable to the household’s evolving needs. A team player willing to step in and assist wherever necessary is essential. This position is suited for someone who can build a genuine, warm rapport and act as a friend and companion. Candidates should have a minimum of three to five years of experience working in private homes. The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion is required. The caregiver must be flexible with scheduling when required. The family has had long-term caregivers and values stability and dedication. A family of four, in Houston, TX, needs to hire a highly experienced Estate Manager/Executive Assistant who can take charge of the management of their 5 properties in Texas, Florida, Montana and the Bahamas. Responsibilities include: upkeep and maintenance of the homes, including travel between the homes for onsite inspections, handing of all security systems, supervision of service providers, scheduling and overseeing repairs, management of staff as needed, seasonal maintenance of the grounds, online research for and procurement of necessary supplies, coordination of maintenance operations with the principals and family office, sourcing/screening of outside vendors and submitting cost evaluations, keeping track of inventory, creating spreadsheets, and submitting receipts for credit card reconciliations and invoices for approval and maintenance of the vehicles. Additional administrative responsibilities will be: executing payments for all property vendors, staff, insurance companies, and any other payments as needed, ensuring that the payments are tracked properly for each property, creating the schedules for household staff & managing the family calendar, and assisting with travel arrangements and event planning. Experience with QuickBooks is helpful but not necessary. The ideal candidate should have many years of relevant experience, as well as flexibility to operate between multiple properties. When the family is not in residence, the schedule will shift to weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekends off. Flexibility is essential for this role.
