Working parents, on the Upper East Side, need to hire a Nanny/House Manager to assist with running the household and caring for three school-aged children. Responsibilities include: helping to transport the children to and from school and after school activities, assisting with taking care of our cars (getting gas, taking for service, etc.), helping coordinate playdates, taking the children on special trips, overseeing homework, instrument practice, help with scheduling for the children and taking them to various appointments, purchasing/wrapping gifts for birthday parties or holidays, packing for trips and sleepaway camp, assisting with grocery shopping, helping with the children’s laundry and rooms and assisting with cooking for children. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of verifiable experience in a combined nanny/household management role, demonstrate strong organizational and childcare skills, maintain a calm and reliable presence in the home, communicate effectively, and work proactively and independently. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $40–$45 depending on experience.
