A busy, fully staffed family with homes in South Florida and Los Angeles is seeking an exceptional, Spanish Speaking, career ROTA Governess/Nanny to support the care and education of their toddler. This is a high-touch, education-focused role best suited for a seasoned professional who brings structure, consistency, and warmth to daily care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, homeschooling, or a related field, with experience in-or deep familiarity with-the Montessori philosophy. The family is seeking someone who is sophisticated, disciplined, and highly structured, yet genuinely kind, calm, and emotionally intelligent. Multilingual abilities are a plus. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive daily care and educational support; planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum and enriching activities; researching and coordinating classes and developmental opportunities; and monitoring and tracking developmental milestones. The Governess/Nanny will collaborate closely with the parents and the family’s Head Governess/Nanny, travel extensively both domestically and internationally, and manage child-related household responsibilities such as laundry and wardrobe management, preparing child for travel (i.e. packing), organization of child spaces, supply management, and preparing simple, healthy meals for the child. The successful candidate will approach each day with a teacher’s mindset, intentionally creating learning opportunities that support the child’s cognitive, emotional, and social development. A ‘kind but firm’ caregiving style is essential, utilizing positive discipline, clear boundaries, and a warm, nurturing presence. Applicants must have significant experience caring for children of a similar age and supporting them through key developmental and educational transitions. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of professional childcare experience, be a strong swimmer, a confident driver, and hold a valid passport with full travel flexibility. All standard CDC-recommended vaccinations must be up to date (COVID vaccination optional). Comfort working within a fully staffed, fast-paced household-taking direction while also operating independently-is essential. There is a small dog in the home; no pet care is required. This position follows a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off ROTA schedule. The role is live-in while on rotation, with fly-in/fly-out arrangements when off rotation. While on duty, the Governess/Nanny is expected to be fully on call 24/7, with long and active days that may begin early in the morning (as early as 6:00am) and extend into the evening (often until 9:00pm). Compensation is expected to begin at approximately $170,000+ annually, commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications. A family of five, with homes on the Upper East Side and in the Hamptons, needs to high an experienced Nanny to help care for a toddler and two early school-age children.  Responsibilities include: engaging the children in age-appropriate, fun educational activities, preparing healthy meals and snacks, escorting the children, as needed, to after-school activities, monitoring developmental milestones, caring for their rooms and belongings and helping to keep the home neat and tidy.  The Nanny must work closely with an at home Mom. Responsibilities include: Housekeeping, household organization, family laundry, preparing meals for the children, walking the family dog, and assisting with the children’s afternoon and evening routines. The family has three young children in the developmental stages of early elementary, toddler/preschool, and infant, with the older children in school until approximately 2:00–3:00 PM each day, allowing the earlier portion of the shift to focus primarily on household upkeep before transitioning into childcare support later in the afternoon and evening once the family’s nanny leaves around 4:00 PM.  Flexibility for occasional travel is a plus, though not required. A formal home, in Southampton, needs to hire an experienced Houseman who can work as a team with their Housekeepers, Chef and House manager and other staff.  Responsibilities include: vendor management, maintaining vehicles and household systems and assisting with meticulous, museum quality cleaning/upkeep and maintenance. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience caring for delicate surfaces, fine furnishings, expensive linens and high-end wardrobe. Additional duties include: window cleaning, outdoor work like pool area, furniture, tennis courts, balconies, and setting up and breaking down beach chairs and umbrellas, etc.

Must work harmoniously with other staff and take and follow directions well. Excellent English is a must. The schedule is flexible during the summer when the family is in residence six days per week 60-70 hours per week.  When the family is not in residence the hours are Monday-Friday from 9-5.
