The family spends the majority of the year at their primary Chicago residence, with additional time spent at another Illinois home, as well as residences out of state. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced House Manager who excels at creating systems, improving organization, and ensuring a large household runs seamlessly. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, generally from 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 or 6:00 p.m., with some flexibility required. The ideal candidate will understand that flexibility is essential, particularly for special events, changing schedules, later evenings, and occasional travel. Applicants should have a minimum of five years of professional chauffeur experience within a private household, family office, or similarly demanding environment. An excellent driving record, exceptional knowledge of New York City and the surrounding metropolitan area, outstanding discretion and professionalism, and strong communication skills are essential. Previous experience in law enforcement, executive protection, military service, or private security is highly desirable, though not required. The principal prefers that the Chauffeur be able to take the vehicle home overnight.
