A family, on the Upper West side, the needs to hire a House Manager for large, upscale penthouse apartment. Responsibilities include: acting as the main point of contact, be responsible for the smooth operation and meticulous maintenance of the residence, managing vendors, household calendars, inventories, arranging private parties, dealing with household technology, catering to the needs of overnight guests, and special projects (e.g. holiday decorations, renovations, purchasing, light personal assistance, etc.).  They will also source, vet, train, and supervise staff as needed. There are some hands-on duties such as careful packing (preparing/checking lists), errands, and occasional pet-care.  The schedule will fluctuate from Mon – Fri (9AM – 5PMish) to Wed – Sun (10AM-8PMish) based on the family’s need.  Flexibility is a must.  Qualified candidates will be highly organized, tech-savvy, discreet, and team-spirited.  Salary range: $50 – $60/hour. Projected start date: Mid-late May.

A family of four, in the South Bay Area, needs to hire a full-time, live-in Cook/Housekeeper who can help with daily meal prep for their family and home organization. Responsibilities include: cooking,  following recipes, tracking inventory, grocery shopping, setting the table and clear the table. Cooking consists of preparing healthy dinners 4-5 nights/week for a family of 3-4 and on occasion guests. Some breakfast and lunch preparation on weekdays. Light housekeeping, working in close coordination with the part time cleaning team.

Ideal candidate has prior experience working in private homes and has a track record of building a relationship with a family and the existing home support team.  Private room and bath provided. A driver is a huge plus. Schedule : Monday through Friday 10am – 7pm with flexibility. Salary $40 – $45/hour plus health insurance. Late July/early August start.

Responsibilities include: preparing healthy meals and snacks, changing diapers, bathing, dressing, engaging the children in fun, age-appropriate developmental play, taking the school aged-child to activities, assisting with homework, supervising dinner time and bedtime, and managing children’s calendars and their belongings. Must be able to drive, swim, travel domestically (summer in CT) and internationally, and have experience with infants.

A family of five, with homes on the Upper East Side and in the Hamptons, needs to hire an active full time Nanny who can assist busy parents with the care of three school-aged children age 9-12. Responsibilities include: managing the children’s activities, helping them with homework, chaperoning them to parks, playgrounds, play dates and birthday parties, engaging them in indoor and outdoor play, and fun-filled educational games, supervising their dinner time, bath time and bedtime, and babysitting when the parents are out. 5-10 years full time nanny experience and excellent communication skills would be required. Summer is spent in the Hamptons and will require the candidate to Live in. The schedule is: 2pm-8pm, Monday-Friday with flexibility to come in early , stay late and work occasional weekends Salary range: $40-$50/hour plus health Insurance. Immediate start.

A family of six, with homes in TriBeCa and the Hamptons, needs to hire an afternoon Nanny to assist in the care of their two oldest children. The Nanny will pick up the eldest up from school (in Westchester), transport them to afterschool sports/ activities, help with homework & school projects, and engage the children intellectually. Applicants must be licensed drivers who are comfortable driving in the city and those with teaching experience would be highly preferred! The ideal candidate would be sporty, smart, fun, and able to act as a mentor to an elementary age boy. Swimmers are preferred and applicants must be able to travel with the family, including to their summer home in the Hamptons (when the role will be live in). Flexibility is required and while the family can guarantee 30 hours, Monday to Friday from 2 to 7 or 8pm, there will be a need for weekend and late-night coverage and the family will provide a full time salary within the 100-120K range. A family of three, with homes on the Upper East Side and in Florida, needs to hire an experienced live out Nanny who can take over from the Babynurse and care for a young infant/toddler. Responsibilities include: monitoring developmental milestones, helping the child learn through play, introducing foods, potty-training (at the right time) caring for the child’s room and belongings and keeping the child’s things properly supplied. And some household errands. All candidates must be flexible to travel over the winter for a few months and must love dogs. Hours are usually weekdays with three days from 10am-8pm and 2 days from 12pm-10pm. Salary range: $30-$40 per hour base.  Immediate start.
