Position: Housekeeper, Laundress, Live Out, Part Time
Location: Manhattan, New York

A formal household, the Upper East Side, needs to hire a formally trained part time Housekeeper/Laundress.  Responsibilities include: meticulous housekeeping – caring for antiques and fragile furnishings, making beds, changing linens on a tri-weekly schedule, maintaining an inventory of personal and household supplies, including day-to-day basics and specialty items and replacing them in a timely manner, general maintenance of wardrobe (clothing, accessories, etc.), and performing seasonal wardrobe changeover, ironing/steaming of garments and household linens, responsible for travel packing needs, including gathering of personal items, folding, and packing of garments, etc., maintaining a clean kitchen and all appliances including stove top, ovens etc., shopping and household errands and greeting guests appropriately. There is considerable heavy lifting required on this position. All candidates must be comfortable working in a staffed home and with wearing a uniform (provided). Schedule is: Monday, Wednesday and Saturday 9am -5pm – with flexibility required.  Salary range: $45-$50 an hour. Immediate start.

A family of four, on the Upper West Side needs to hire a top-notch, rotational, live-out Nanny to join their team. Responsibilities include all aspects of daily childcare: preparing meals, arranging playdates, attending classes, creating fun and developmentally savvy games, doing the children’s laundry, packing child’s belongings for trips, and helping at bedtime. Candidates should be developmental savvy. Applicants must hold college degree. Candidates with a background in childhood education are preferred. Must be well educated and speak fluent English. The Nanny must partner well on a team. The Nanny must be fully vaccinated, have recent experience working with infants and toddlers, and be comfortable working inside of a home where the parents work from home. Must be able to work as a team with other staff and have prior live-in nannying experience. Schedule: 5 mornings a week before school 6:30-9am, 3 afternoons a week: 2:30pm-bedtime, 6 weekend days a month, with guaranteed 40-45 hours a week. Private room and bath. Salary: $70,000 a year. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy, possess exceptional multitasking abilities, and demonstrate a strong attention to detail. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities is an absolute must, as the principals have rigorous work and personal schedules as public figures. While the typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, it is important that all candidates be flexible for additional coverage for late nights, weekends, or holidays. A family, in East Hampton, needs to hire a 5-day live in or local live out Nanny to help care for their young toddler and assist as hands-on stay at home Parent. Responsibilities include:  engaging the child in educational & developmentally appropriate games & activities, helping to track milestones, preparing healthy meals, diaper & toilet training, as well preparing for other developmental steps when the time arises, assisting with the children’s laundry and any household upkeep. The Nanny must be comfortable around water, CPR certified (or willing to get), and be up to date on vaccines. Drivers are a plus but not required and the family would also love someone who is bilingual. Should the family grow, the Nanny must be able to care for two children and have infant experience. Teaching experience is a plus, as is familiarity with Montessori methods. For live in applicants, private bed with ensuite bathroom is offered. For live out candidates, nanny should expect to arrive Monday morning around 11am and leave Friday around 6pm. Unless nanny has a car, the family can shuttle to/from the East Hampton train station.
