A family, in Atherton, CA, needs to hire an experienced, highly organized Mandarin speaking Household Manager / Executive Family Assistant to act as an extension of the principals and take full ownership of the daily operations of their primary residence and support the family’s personal and administrative needs. Responsibilities include: managing household staff and vendors, maintaining household and family calendars, coordinating maintenance and home-improvement projects, overseeing inventories and household systems, tracking expenses and invoices, managing appointments and personal errands, assisting with events, gifting and planning domestic and international travel. The Household Manager will also coordinate the schedules and logistics of two school-aged children, including school communications, activities, registrations, transportation, and related deadlines. Hands-on pet care and coordination for the family’s dog will also be required. The successful candidate will serve as the central point of coordination between the principals, household staff, schools, activity providers, vendors, contractors, travel advisors, and other professional contacts. This is a hands-on management and coordination role for someone who can anticipate needs, plan thoughtfully, and ensure that projects and daily responsibilities are completed accurately and on time. Applicants should have a minimum of five years of relevant private-household experience and a valid driver’s license. The ability to understand and communicate effectively in Mandarin is required. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am. to 5:30pm with flexibility for special occasions and other time-sensitive household or travel needs. A private principal, based in Greenwich Village, needs to hire an experienced and highly professional Full-Time Chauffeur / Houseman to provide transportation and assist with hands-on household support. Primary responsibilities include: providing safe, efficient, and professional transportation throughout the tri-state area, including daily transportation to and from the principal’s office, appointments, meetings, dinners, and social engagements, transporting visiting family members and guests as needed, managing all aspects of vehicle care including routine maintenance, detailing, inspections, fueling, and ensuring the vehicle is always in pristine condition and occasional local travel with the principal during the summer, typically for one to two weeks at a time. When driving duties are not required, the role will involve assisting with general household support alongside a full-time housekeeper including: running errands, handling deliveries, walking a friendly dog, and helping with other household tasks and special projects as requested. The ideal candidate will understand that flexibility is essential, particularly for special events, changing schedules, later evenings, and occasional travel. Applicants should have a minimum of five years of professional chauffeur experience within a private household, family office, or similarly demanding environment. An excellent driving record, exceptional knowledge of New York City and the surrounding metropolitan area, outstanding discretion and professionalism, and strong communication skills are essential. Previous experience in law enforcement, executive protection, military service, or private security is highly desirable, though not required. The principal prefers that the Chauffeur be able to take the vehicle home overnight. The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday from approximately 8/9am to 8/9pm with one to two late evenings per week, particularly on Fridays, depending on the principal’s busy social schedule. Salary  range: 120-150K. This position is expected to begin toward the end of summer 2026.
