Responsibilities include: monitoring developmental milestones, helping the child learn through play, introducing foods, potty-training (at the right time) caring for the child’s room and belongings and keeping the child’s things properly supplied. And some household errands. All candidates must be flexible to travel over the winter for a few months and must love dogs. The typical schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8am to 2pm, with occasional 12-6pm days and the opportunity for extra hours by helping on the weekend. The family does guarantee 30 hours. A family of four South Florida, needs to hire an experienced career Nanny to join their team and cover the weekend shift for their childcare needs. Both children are pre-k/ kindergarten age. The Nanny will handle all aspects of daily childcare and partner with Mom for a hands-on approach to age-appropriate games, outings, and activities. All candidates must be developmentally savvy and able to engage the children in activities that supplement their education and positively challenge them. Nanny will be responsible for some child-related housekeeping and laundry, as well as meals for the children. A family of four in Denver, needs to hire an experienced Nanny/Housekeeper who will also have some House Management duties.  Primary responsibilities are for the children and include: getting them to school, picking them up from school (all that the bus stop), escorting them to after school activities and caring for their rooms and belongings. Other responsibilities include: include light housekeeping (there is a weekly cleaning crew), caring for fine art and antiques, (experience in a formal home is a big plus), family laundry, overseeing vendors and repair personnel and household shopping (groceries etc.). All candidates must be confidant drivers. Schedule is Monday – Thursday 7am -5pm and Fridays 7am -11am. Salary range: $30-35 hr.  Immediate start.

A formal Manhattan household needs to hire a highly experienced, and hands-on, live-in Housekeeper to join their team. Responsibilities include: detailed housekeeping & care for fine household items, running errands, receiving & welcoming visitors & guests, overseeing vendors in the home, formal table setting, very light meal prep (typically just breakfast, as there is a chef), and pitching in with some pet care for two small dogs. The family is in residence about 6-7 months out of the year and during this time, schedule will be working, typically, Monday through Friday 7:30am and 7:30pm, with a break during the day. Flexibility is key and some evening or weekend coverage may be needed. When the principals are out of town, the schedule will be a standard Monday to Friday, with lighter hours. Responsibilities include: cleaning high-traffic areas, maintaining the kitchen, light laundry, inventory management, household organization, and overall household maintenance. The household currently employs a housekeeper during the week and a cleaning crew for deep cleans. The part-time individual will be responsible for maintenance and tidying of the home. The schedule can be on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays, totaling around 16 hours per week. The schedule is flexible, allowing for either two full days or half-days. This is a year-long position with the possibility of additional hours during the months when the family is in residence. Salary range:  $40 to $45 per hour. Flexible start date.

Working parents, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a full time live out Nanny/Family Assistant to help care for their two school aged daughters and assist inside of the home.  Childcare responsibilities include: afterschool pick up, transporting the children to/from activities, homework help, packing book bags and school lunches, and assisting with bath and bedtime routine. Household duties include:  family laundry, running errands, grocery shopping, purchasing items for the children, packing their suitcases for trips, tracking inventory, pet care (small dog) etc. Must drive. College educated individuals or teachers are a huge plus. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday working 3 days a week 2:30pm – 10:30pm and 2 days per week 11am – 7:30pm. Flexibility is required. Travel to the Hamptons during summer months is required. Salary range:  $30 – $40/hour depending on experience. End of summer start date.

A family of three, soon to be four, with homes in Tribeca and Westchester, need to hire a nurturing Nanny/Housekeeper. The role will be a combination of childcare, taking care of a 2 year old and a newborn and light housekeeping / house management. Housekeeping responsibilities include: tidying up toys, cooking healthy meals for the children, packing diaper bags, loading/unloading dishwasher, making the beds, , grocery shopping and tracking, setting up for meal-time and cleaning up after meals. Nanny will be expected to travel with the family to Bedford and in the summer to the Hamptons. Flexibility to travel internationally over the December holidays would be a big plus.  The schedule is: live-in from Friday evening at 5/6pm (flexibility to start earlier on Friday if they are traveling is a plus) until Sunday 7/8pm, with the flexibility to work on Mondays on long weekend holidays (e.g. MLK Day, President’s Day, etc.).

Working parents, Monmouth County, NJ. , needs to hire a dual Companion/ Nanny to provide dedicated care and assistance to their teenager with special needs. Responsibilities include: providing daily companionship, engaging the child in activities that interest them, trying to promote positive healthy habits like walks outside, preparing meals, assisting with hygienic needs like dressing and bathing (when parents are not available), and providing extra support and coverage a few nights a month so parents can have a night out. Applicants should be personable and sweet and have experience working with special needs children and, ideally, teens. There is some flexibility with the schedule and family would like a few late nights a month but typical schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 11am to 5pm, Wednesdays from 8am to 5pm and Thursdays and Fridays from 8am to 2pm. Salary $35/hr.
