Responsibilities include: assisting with morning routine, school drop off & pick up, taking the children to afterschool activities, monitoring developmental milestones, engaging the children in educational and enriching actives & games, supporting language development, preparing healthy & nutritious meals, assisting them with bed/ bath routines, and spending seasonal time with the family at their secondary home, living in, possibly travelling with the family as well. Must be happy working in a home with a friendly dog. Experience caring for multiples is a plus.

The ideal applicant will be multilingual and an excellent communicator, with a minimum of 7 years of experience caring for children. Schedule is Monday to Friday, mornings (7-9am) and afternoons (4-8pm) – guaranteeing 30 hours, with flexibility for some additional date night and/or weekend coverage. A Philadelphia family of four needs to hire a part time Housekeeper/Nanny to assist in the upkeep of their home and help with light childcare. Responsibilities include: family laundry (including ironing & care for linens), maintaining the general cleanliness of the home (between monthly deep cleans), organizing & tidying, errands & household shopping, some light cooking (mostly school lunches for the eldest & maybe one family dinner a week), as well as helping with children’s morning routines, some infant care during the day, and babysitting coverage. The ideal candidate is developmentally knowledgeable and experienced with caring for multiple children, including infants. the family already employs another nanny who will primarily focus on the newborn during the day, this role will focus on the older children, providing extra support to the family and contributing to a collaborative and harmonious household. Responsibilities include:  planning and preparing healthy meals for the children, running occasional errands, assisting with elementary-level homework assignments, and coordinating activities and playdates – especially with nearby relatives who have similarly aged children. The Nanny should also be comfortable helping with packing, unpacking, and maintaining calm routines during frequent domestic and international travel. Formal training in infant care and child development is strongly preferred. The nanny should enjoy being outdoors and be comfortable with swimming, hiking and cycling The role also includes occasional supervision of extended family members children, so comfort juggling a larger group is essential.
