Responsibilities include: assisting with morning routines and tag-teaming with the parents on school drop-off and pick-up for the older child, accompanying the younger child to daytime classes and playdates, engaging both children in fun, developmentally appropriate, and educational activities, planning and accompanying the children on outings, monitoring and supporting developmental milestones, managing all child-related laundry and light housekeeping, preparing healthy snacks and meals for the children and traveling with the family as needed (typically one to two times per year). The role also requires living in with the family for approximately six weeks during the summer. The children are being raised bilingual in English and French, making it essential that the Nanny to actively support and reinforce language development.
