A family of five on the Upper East Side, needs to hire an full time career Nanny to assist in caring for their three children (infant through elementary school age) during the week. Responsibilities include: school drop off/ pick up, accompanying the children to afterschool activities & social events, engaging the children in fun, educational, age-appropriate play, diapering, bottle feeding, preparing healthy meals & snacks, caring for the children’s room and belongings, household organization, and scheduling appointments & helping to manage their schedules and needs. Family will have a baby nurse with them through June  2026 so the majority of the care will be for the oldest until that time, though there is another nanny in the home to split these duties with. The family frequently spends time at a second residence in the country, so the Nanny must be comfortable traveling and staying overnight (private bedroom and bathroom provided), usually this will be during the summer. The family is flexible with the schedule, though they require coverage from 10am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, with an earlier start possible. All candidates must have a  valid driver’s license and swim. The nanny must also be comfortable around dogs. A background in education or a related degree is strongly preferred. Salary range: $35-40 per hour with health insurance contribution and MetroCard offered. Early 2026 start is expected but the family is flexible for earlier/ later, depending on the applicant.
