A family of four, in the Miami area, needs to hire a highly flexible full-time Housekeeper/ Cook/ Nanny to handle overall household assistance and help with the day-to-day needs of their home and family. Responsibilities include: daily household upkeep, making beds, family laundry, household organization, light household maintenance, running errands, keeping household supplies stocked, and generally staying ahead of the family’s day-to-day needs so that tasks do not accumulate, preparing simple, healthy family meals, running errands, assisting a hands-on parent with morning and afternoon childcare (for two elementary age children), traveling with the family, assisting with pet care, and ideally handling house and pet sitting when the family is away. The family already employs a part-time Housekeeper who handles the majority of the deep cleaning, so this individual will be responsible for making sure the home remains consistently tidy, organized, and well maintained throughout the week. A valid driver’s license and strong driving ability are required, as is the ability and willingness to travel. This position may be live-in or live-out; however, live-out candidates must be comfortable staying overnight as needed. The family’s ideal schedule is Monday through Saturday, but are open to a five-day work week. The general day begins around 6:30 a.m., with help needed through approximately 8:00 a.m. Once the morning routine is complete, the candidate will have flexibility to manage household responsibilities throughout the day and structure their own time accordingly. The children are generally home again around 3:30 p.m., with the workday continuing through approximately 8:00 p.m. There will be periods of downtime during the day, and the family is comfortable with the candidate using that time freely once responsibilities are handled. A Manhattan family of three needs to hire a highly experienced Lead ROTA Nanny / Governess to provide attentive, developmentally focused care for their toddler. Responsibilities will center around providing exceptional care for the family’s toddler while taking a thoughtful, educational, and developmentally informed approach to each day. The ideal candidate will create enriching daily routines, plan age-appropriate activities and outings, accompany the child to local classes, arrange playdates, introduce educational concepts through play, monitor developmental milestones, and support the child’s cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development. Additional responsibilities include: preparing meals for the child and handling child-related upkeep and laundry. This individual should also understand the discretion, professionalism, flexibility, and exceptionally high standards required when working within a formal private household and be comfortable collaborating with parents and other household staff. The family is seeking a top-tier career nanny with a minimum of 10-15 years of professional childcare experience, including experience working for HNW/UHNW private households in New York City. A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree is strongly preferred, particularly in a related field (i.e., child development, child psychology, elementary education, or early childhood education). Prior teaching experience would be a significant plus. Travel with the family will be required, so candidates must have a valid passport and be comfortable traveling domestically and internationally. A valid driver’s license, strong swimming ability, and current CPR and First Aid certifications are also required. The schedule is seven days on/seven days off, approximately 9:30am to 7pm. All candidates must have several years of professional nanny or family assistant experience working with children and families in New York City, have excellent command of spoken and written English, be a confident and safe driver with a clean driving record, a strong swimmer, be comfortable navigating New York City and managing transportation independently and be comfortable traveling domestically and/or internationally ( during spring break, holidays etc.) Summers are spent, living in, on Long Island.
