Responsibilities include: engaging the children in fun and educational activities and working alongside hands-on parents as a supportive team member. Responsibilities include school drop off/ pick up, accompanying to afterschool activities & social events, engaging the children in fun, educational, age-appropriate play, diapering, bottle feeding, preparing healthy meals & snacks, caring for the children’s room and belongings, household organization, and scheduling appointments & helping to manage their schedules and needs. Family will have a baby nurse with them through June  2026 so the majority of the care will be for the oldest until this time, though there is another nanny in the home to split these duties with. The family frequently spends time at a second residence in the country, so the nanny must be comfortable traveling and staying overnight (private bedroom and bathroom provided), usually this will be during the summer. For the right nanny, the family is flexible with the schedule, though they require coverage from 10am to 7pm, Monday to Friday, with an earlier start possible. The right applicant will be educated, active, mature, fun, and be able to take initiative! A valid driver’s license and swimming ability are required. The nanny must also be comfortable around dogs. There is a team in place to handle deep cleaning but responsibilities will include: daily household upkeep, laundry and ironing, grocery shopping and errands, driving one of the principals, caring for the family’s cat, organizing and assisting with household projects. A family, on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, needs to hire an experienced Overnight Baby Nurse/Newborn Care Specialist to assist with the arrival of their newborn in March 2027, with an anticipated start date likely around the last weekend in March. Responsibilities include all aspects of overnight newborn care: formula preparation & feeding, diaper changes, soothing, monitoring, and establishing healthy sleep habits, as well as light baby-related housekeeping such as bottle washing, baby laundry, and general nursery tidying. The family is happy to accommodate the Baby Nurse either in the nursery or in an adjacent guest bedroom, where they may rest during downtime while monitoring the baby. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5–7 years of extensive, hands-on newborn care experience, with a strong preference for professionals who have previously supported families welcoming babies through surrogacy or adoption and who are well-versed in formula feeding. While Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) certification is a plus, the family places greater value on substantial, relevant experience caring for newborns. Candidates must be fully vaccinated, including Tdap, MMR, and seasonal influenza, and hold current infant CPR certification. Applicants must also be comfortable working in a home with cats and must already reside within the NYC tri-state area, as this is a live-out position with the Baby Nurse returning home during the day and on scheduled time off. The ideal candidate will be warm, calm, knowledgeable, flexible, and confident in providing exceptional overnight newborn care while supporting the family through this exciting new chapter. The family is seeking support for a minimum of one month, with a strong possibility of extending the assignment depending on their evolving needs. The initial schedule will likely consist of seven nights per week, working 12-hour overnight shifts from approximately 7/8pm–7/8am. The family would appreciate some flexibility, as they may eventually reduce the number of nights per week or extend the overall duration of the assignment. Salary range: $40-50/hr. Late March start.

Working parents, in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, need to hire an experienced, and proactive live-out Nanny to care for their infant. Responsibilities include: managing all aspects of the baby’s care, transitioning care from the baby nurse, maintaining feeding and sleep schedules, preparing and sterilizing bottles, handling baby laundry, and keeping the child’s belongings and play areas clean and organized. A strong understanding of infant development is essential, including monitoring milestones and planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, outings, and playdates. Familiarity with the neighborhood and connections with local nannies are a plus. Candidates must be active and comfortable navigating multiple flights of stairs in the home. Applicants must be fully vaccinated, able to swim, comfortable with a cat in the home, and available to travel with the family one to two times per year. A driver’s license is a plus.
