A family of five, in Chelsea, needs to hire an educationally minded and experienced Live in Nanny. Responsibilities include:  changing, bottle preparation and feeding, maintaining sleep nap schedules, engaging the children in age-appropriate play and learning activities, taking them to and from the park, planning activities and classes, Dr. appointments, and doing the children’s laundry and nursery cleanup. All candidates must have significant school aged, toddler and infant experience. Must drive swim and be computer literate.  Schedule is Thursday evening to Monday evening. Flexibility is key.  All candidates must be able to travel as needed since the family travels frequently domestically and internationally. Working parents on the Upper East Side seek a full-time, live-out Nanny to care for their infant. This role will take over from the Babynurse, and the baby is already on a strong, consistent schedule.

The ideal candidate is developmentally savvy, highly experienced with infants, and knowledgeable about age-appropriate activities and milestones. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  continuing to create, implement, and maintain a consistent daily schedule that supports healthy sleep, feeding, and developmental routines. The Nanny will support developmental growth, introduce new foods, prepare and cook nutritious meals for the baby as solids are introduced, take the baby to local developmental classes/playgroups and playdates as organized by the parents, assist with walking and potty training at the appropriate stages, and foster a warm, engaging, and structured environment.

In addition to attentive childcare, the Nanny will be responsible for all child-related household duties, including maintaining the nursery, organizing toys and baby items, laundering baby clothes and linens, cleaning bottles and feeding supplies, sanitizing play areas, and keeping common areas used by the child tidy. Light household support related to the child — including grocery shopping for baby items and occasional errands — is expected. Candidates should be proactive, organized, and take pride in maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

The position is primarily based in the City, with infrequent travel (potentially 2–3 times per year). Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm requiring flexibility for occasional late evenings. Salary range $35-$45 per hour with health insurance or a stipend after a probationary period. A family of four, in the Financial District, needs to hire a part time Nanny to assist in the afterschool care of their two  elementary age children. Responsibilities include:  school pick up, homework help, engaging the children in fun and educational games,  taking the children on outings, preparing healthy snacks and meals and, time permitting, child related housekeeping and laundry duties. Nannies with prior experience working with neurodivergent children would be a plus but is not required.  Schedule is Monday to Friday from 2:30 to 6:30pm.
