A  family, with home in Austin, TX and Colorado, needs to hire a Nanny/Family Assistant to help care for their energetic toddler and assist with the smooth day-to-day operation of their home as they prepare to welcome a new baby this summer, time split 50/50 between childcare  and  assistant duties. Responsibilities include: caring for the children’s daily needs, preparing healthy meals and snacks, bottle preparation and feeding support for the infant, maintaining nap and developmental routines, planning engaging age-appropriate activities, accompanying the children on outings and outdoor adventures, supporting developmental milestones through active, screen-free play, children’s laundry and organization, sterilizing bottles and maintaining children’s belongings, grocery shopping and running household errands, assisting with light meal prep, scheduling vendors and repairs, calendar support, light pet care, family laundry and helping to maintain the overall flow and tidiness of the home alongside the family’s part time housekeeper. There is to be no private cell phone use during working hours. The family spends extended periods of time at a secondary residence in Colorado and the Nanny must be able available to travel and live between both locations for stretches of a few months at a time. While in Colorado, private accommodations will be provided and the family is happy to send the Nanny back home to Texas for the occasional weekend. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of professional nanny experience caring for children of similar ages. Candidates must be comfortable working collaboratively with hands-on, work-from-home parents. The Nanny must be supportive of a low-toxin/ fragrance-free household and be happy to work in a home with dogs. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and be able to swim. In the city, the schedule is typically Fridays, Saturdays, and occasional Sundays from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with flexibility to stay later as needed. In the Hamptons, the schedule will include Fridays (ideally arriving late Thursday evening), Saturdays, and approximately half of the Sundays during the summer, working from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM. This individual will act as a true gatekeeper and extension of the principal, helping ensure seamless day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of experience supporting a founder, CEO, entrepreneur, family office, or UHNW principal and must possess exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 9am–5pm, with flexibility required as needed to ensure priorities are handled. Additional duties include: overseeing the care of an older family member with ongoing health needs – coordinating nursing, infusions, medication schedules, and appointments, managing hospital and specialist portals, tracking labs, scans, and records and keeping all documentation current and organized. All candid but must be detail-oriented, calm, and comfortable in medical environments. Prior EA or PA experience required, with direct experience managing finances for a principal. Highly tech-savvy and digitally confident (DocuSign, cloud platforms, online portals, insurance submissions). A meaningful portion of the day involves digital administration.
