A family of four, in Greenwich, CT, needs to hire a Live-in or Live-out Weekend Nanny as an extra set of hands to busy parents. Responsibilities include: assisting with activities and playdates for two young girls, engaging the children in age-appropriate play, keeping the home neat and organized, help preparing meals, occasionally walking the dog and assisting the parents with other duties as needed. Applicants that have special needs experience is a plus, but not a requirement. The family spends summers in the Hamptons and ideally the Nanny will join them. A prominent New York–based firm is seeking a seasoned Security Professional to work as the right hand to their Global Head of Security, overseeing all aspects of executive protection, physical security, and access control operations. This individual will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the firm’s security infrastructure, including access control systems, CCTV, and related technology. Working closely with IT, Facilities, and outside integrators, this person will ensure that all platforms are seamlessly integrated, maintained, and upgraded in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices. Responsibilities include: executive protection, developing and implementing physical security policies and emergency action plans across multiple locations, conducting risk analyses, investigating breaches or incidents, and managing vendor relationships and budgets for security operations and construction projects. The role also involves overseeing a global 24/7/365 security operations center and ensuring alignment between physical and cyber security initiatives. In addition to infrastructure oversight, this position carries significant executive protection responsibilities. The Security Professional will plan and manage protective operations for senior leadership—conducting threat assessments, coordinating logistics, planning secure travel routes, and liaising with local law enforcement and external agencies as needed. This includes developing and maintaining executive protection protocols, vetting and training personnel, coordinating high-profile events and board meetings, and maintaining absolute discretion regarding sensitive information.
The ideal candidate will remain informed about emerging technologies and global risk trends, proactively recommending enhancements to strengthen the firm’s overall security posture. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in corporate or executive-level security operations. Prior work in a corporate environment with exposure to executive protection, access control systems, and investigations is essential. An HR-218, armed guard, or security guard license is must, as is experience working in NYC or an equally substantial urban setting. The position requires exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. The Chauffeur will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of the company executives, guests, and family members. The Chauffeur will handle all driving and vehicle related duties such as: planning routes, gassing, cleaning, maintaining and garaging the vehicle and stocking amenities (e.g. water, tissues, umbrellas, mints, etc.). They will also run light errands and carry out special requests. The ability to communicate via e-mail, text, and phone is a must. Candidates must be familiar with NYC traffic patterns, especially within Manhattan and surrounding boroughs, and demonstrate a consistent track record of punctuality, discretion, and professionalism. The role requires exceptional attention to safety and client service, along with a clean driving record and relevant licensing. A background in security and/or law enforcement is strongly preferred, as is prior experience working for HNW/UHNW individuals and their families. The Chauffeur will be responsible for daily transportation, including morning, midday, and evening driving assignments.
