A formal household, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a formally trained Housekeeper/Laundress. Responsibilities include: detailed, museum level housekeeping and daily maintenance, laundry and ironing (knowledge of couture clothing, fine linens etc. is a must), assistance in the kitchen (cooking skills are a plus) and household errands. This person will work as a team under the supervision of the House Manager and must have experience in a fine, staffed home. Salary range: $40-$42 hr. plus overtime and medical insurance. Immediate start.
