A family of four, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a full-time Housekeeper/Nanny to support two co-parents who live around the corner from one another. The position is primarily focused on maintaining both residences and responsibilities include daily organization and deep cleaning, laundry, light household errands, receiving vendors and deliveries,  and helping ensure both homes remain comfortable and orderly. The position also includes light afternoon childcare, such as assisting the parents with school pickup, preparing snacks, supervising homework, and helping the children stay organized. The children are fairly independent, and the employee will generally tag-team with the parents rather than provide full-charge care. Although one residence is larger, only one adult lives there (most space remains unused), while the other parent and two elementary-aged children live in a smaller nearby home.  Candidates must be comfortable working around two dogs. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours guaranteed, approximately 1pm –  9pm, with flexibility for an occasional later evening or weekend day. Live-in applicants are strongly preferred, and a private bedroom and bathroom are provided in the larger residence – 7 days ok.  Salary $35/hr,.along with full corporate benefits, including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).
