Applicant S  is an engaging and nurturing Nanny who provides a secure and loving environment to the children in her care. She has a gentle presence and holds extensive knowledge in early childhood development. She always strives to encourage each child to thrive in their own unique and natural way. Applicant S began her Nannying journey about five years ago starting as an au pair in Spain. This was her first position caring for children, and out of love for her role she was determined to continue pursuing childcare upon her return to the US. She then continued as a full-time nanny in Colorado. While gaining hands-on experience working with multiple families, Applicant S has also researched and consulted various resources to gain education from leaders in the industry on philosophies and principles of caregiving. She participated in an RIE Foundations: Theory and Observation course and completed courses for Newborn Care Specialist Training, Swimming Safety and Instruction for Infants and Toddlers, and a nutrition and cooking course. She is also up to date with her CPR and First Aid Certifications. Prior to nannying, Applicant S lived in NYC and was a yoga teacher. She feels her experience as a yoga teacher has given her the ability to be a passionate teacher, a trustworthy guide, and promote overall well being physically and emotionally. One of Applicant S’s greatest strengths is her ability to connect with children. She is confident she can empower each child to develop as the unique individual they are by allowing them the freedom to explore, wonder, be actively involved, and provide consistency under her safe care. Applicant S believes she can bring harmony and balance into each child’s life, while establishing meaningful relationships with the parents and their families. Applicant S is relocating back to NYC and is seeking her next long term family to work with. She drives, swims, is fully vaccinated and boosted, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree.
