A family of four, with homes in the Financial District and in Locust Valley, LI, needs to hire an experienced Nanny / Family Assistant to support a stay-at-home Mother with after-school childcare and the family’s day-to-day routines. Responsibilities include: picking up the children from school and safely transporting them to activities, appointments, and outings, planning and facilitating age-appropriate educational, creative, and recreational activities, assisting with homework, reading, projects, and enrichment, preparing healthy dinners, bathing, and bedtime preparation. The Nanny/Assistant will help coordinate the children’s schedules, activities, and appointments and partner closely with the stay-at-home Mother and assist with light family-related tasks and errands and provide additional support as needed.

All candidates must have several years of professional nanny or family assistant experience working with children and families in New York City, have excellent command of spoken and written English, be a confident and safe driver with a clean driving record, a strong swimmer, be comfortable navigating New York City and managing transportation independently and be comfortable traveling domestically and/or internationally with the family. Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, with the flexibility to work the family’s after-school and evening schedule.

Salary range: $45–$60 per hour, plus a medical stipend. Immediate start.
