A NYC couple, with a home in Truro, Cape Cod, needs to hire a versatile Housekeeper/Household Assistant. They spend summers and time around the holidays in Truro. There is a team in place to handle deep cleaning but responsibilities will include: daily household upkeep, laundry and ironing, grocery shopping and errands, driving one of the principals, caring for the family’s cat, organizing and assisting with household projects. The ideal candidate is a  hands-on “jack-of-all-trades” who enjoys keeping a home running smoothly and can adapt to the household’s changing needs. A valid driver’s license is required, and candidates who have their own vehicle (to commute to work) are preferred. The schedule is flexible, generally Monday through Friday, three to five days per week, with either full-time or part-time hours during the summer and additional assistance as needed throughout the year- usually over the holidays. Private live-in accommodations are available, and the willingness to stay overnight when one principal is at the residence alone would be greatly appreciated. Salary range: $40–50 per hour. Immediate start available, including work during the upcoming 2026/2027 holiday season.
