Working parents, in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, need to hire an experienced, and proactive live-out Nanny to care for their infant. Responsibilities include: managing all aspects of the baby’s care, transitioning care from the baby nurse, maintaining feeding and sleep schedules, preparing and sterilizing bottles, handling baby laundry, and keeping the child’s belongings and play areas clean and organized. A strong understanding of infant development is essential, including monitoring milestones and planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, outings, and playdates. Familiarity with the neighborhood and connections with local nannies are a plus. Candidates must be active and comfortable navigating multiple flights of stairs in the home. Applicants must be fully vaccinated, able to swim, comfortable with a cat in the home, and available to travel with the family one to two times per year. A driver’s license is a plus. The ideal candidate will bring approximately 10 years of relevant childcare experience and enjoy working as a collaborative partner with involved parents and ideally be with them long term as their family hopefully grows. The primary schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The family would ideally like six days of coverage (Monday to Saturday) and is open to dividing the schedule between two hires, possibly on a rotational schedule. Salary range: $30-40/hr. with a possible health insurance stipend and an OMNY card. December 2026 or early January 2027 start.
