A couple, in  the Lincoln Square area, needs to hire an experienced and highly discreet Full-Time, Live-In Housekeeper/Cook. The residence is occupied intermittently throughout the year, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the home during quieter periods, while remaining flexible, hands-on, and service-oriented when the family or guests are in residence. Responsibilities include: general housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and care of clothing and linens, wardrobe management; packing and unpacking, preparing bedrooms, bathrooms, and living areas ahead of arrivals,  maintaining household supplies; grocery and household shopping, simple, high-quality meal preparation, table setting and service; guest service and identifying and reporting maintenance issues or other matters requiring attention. This is a 40-hour-per-week position, with flexibility in how hours are distributed when the residence is unoccupied. When the family or guests are in residence, greater flexibility will be required and hours may be adjusted to accommodate the needs of the household, with advance notice provided whenever possible. The successful candidate will have prior experience in a high-end private household, excellent housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe-management skills, strong organizational abilities, impeccable attention to detail and the ability to work proactively and independently without constant direction. The family is also open to a hybrid role and will hire someone live-out when the family is not in residence and live-in when the family is in residence. Live-in accommodations will be provided Salary range: $90K – 100K  plus a health insurance stipend. Immediate start
