A professional household, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire an experienced Nanny/Household Assistant with approximately 75% household responsibility and 25% childcare duties. Household responsibilities include: daily laundry and ironing, detailed household organization, grocery shopping, restocking supplies, coordinating with vendors and cooking, dinner preparation is essential. Childcare duties in the afternoon include: school pickups, managing after-school transitions, supervising homework, transporting children to activities, assisting with baths and evening routines, and serving dinner by 7:00 PM. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, strong time management skills, at least five years of verifiable experience in a combined household management/nanny role, and a proactive, detail-oriented, and calm professional presence. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM ET, with occasional late evenings, full day coverage when the principal travels and approximately four overnight stays per year. Salary range: $37-42/hour. Immediate start.
