A family, in Midtown Manhattan, needs to hire an engaging and fun summer Nanny/Educator to assist in the care of their Pre-K/ Kindergarten age child to help get them ready for school in September. Child’s first language is not English so someone who is chatty, speaks fluent English, and can engage him in conversation is a must. This role requires educational play, planning outings, playing games, traveling with the family on vacation and to their summer home, and joining them with their daily routines. The family is planning a two to three-week trip to Florida in June (not required for nanny but a plus if they can start earlier) and then will spend July and possibly August at their home in upstate NY. The Nanny/ Educator will have private bed and bath and they are happy to have them stay on their days off or return home. If working in the city, the role will be live out. Schedule is 10am to 7pm. Salary $40-50/hr. They would ideally like to trial in May and have someone start in June.
