Applicant A has been working as a nanny for 7.5 years and holds experience caring for children ages infancy through school age. She has received Montessori training in child development, in addition to sleep training and early childhood training at The Childcare Exchange and Rockefeller College, and enjoys using these child-rearing methods inside of the home. She firmly believes in raising children from a wholly empathetic viewpoint and guiding them through the setting of healthy boundaries. She holds a background in Dramatic Arts and brings a creative approach to games, activities, and learning with children. She enjoys having children use their imagination with play and she is always engaging with them creating fun developmentally savvy activities. She is currently studying the Gentle Parenting method, and would love to work with a family who is committed to helping to create confident, kind, and healthy children through the use of Montessori and Gentle Parenting. She has worked with many children of all ages but has the most experience with infants and toddlers and prefers to work with this age group. She allows working parents to feel at ease when their children are in her care and believes in open communication with parents. Applicant A is seeking a full-time live-out nanny position. She drives, offers flexibility with her schedule, is covid vaccinated, and can travel lightly throughout the year.
