A Manhattan local,  Applicant T has been working with children in different capacities for over 20 years, including as an educator! I felt incredibly positive about Applicant T when I first met her over two years ago and it was so clear how passionate and dedicated she is to this profession. We placed Applicant T at her current position, though she is searching for a new job closer to home- Litchfield County has been a been of a difficult commute. Applicant T a comes highly recommended by her references.

“Applicant T baked with them; spent copious hours outside with them; tidied the house with them; did art; trips to the library & museums; and spent a lot of engaged in imaginary play. My girls tended to roll with themes in their play and Applicant T accommodated all of it” and “She is also an excellent household manager. Heavy-duty clean was not in her job description but she cooked for the children some evenings; washed their bed linens; and helped keep everything tidy in our home. When the children were older, she taught them valuable life skills such as how to use an oven and how to navigate public transportation. I imagine that my daughters will want to invite Applicant T to their weddings when they are older. While she is excited to find a great family to work for, I may be even more excited to place her! Applicant T is travel-ready and has a valid license. She has an apartment in Manhattan but is happy to be considered for live in or live out roles in the tristate area and will be available to start a new position mid-January.
