A downtown family, needs to hire a full time Rota Nanny for their school aged child. The Nanny will primarily be caring for the older child, but must be flexible to assist with the toddler if ever needed. This is a blended family, with divorced parents who have a strong co-parenting relationship, and the Nannies will be working in both homes. Duties include: managing the child’s schedules, planning/ preparing  meals, school pick up, taking the child to activities/ outings, coordinating play dates, assisting with homework, engaging in play, and helping with evening/ bedtime routine. The family wants someone who is proactive about planning intellectually stimulating activities and outings and has the energy to be hands-on active with the oldest and able to be a true partner to the parents. All applicants should have 5+ years of nanny or teaching experience, be developmentally savvy (related degree or coursework A++), have infant experience, be fully vaccinated (including covid, tdap, mmr, and flu), have a valid passport and be able to travel 2-3X a year. Summers are spend in the Hamptons  and all candidates must be ok working in a home with cats. The schedule is one week on and one week. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to New York.  Salary range:  $100 – $130k plus health insurance stipend and additional benefits. Immediate start.
