Cook/Housekeeper Full-time Live-out or Live-in

Purcellville, VA (1 hour outside of DC)

 

A couple, who lives on a horse farm in Northern Virginia, about an hour outside of Washington, DC, needs to hire a full-time Cook/Housekeeper to assist with the upkeep of their 4,000 square foot home. The ideal candidate would be an excellent cook who is comfortable preparing meals for dinner parties up to 8 people. The candidate will also be experienced in maintaining and cleaning high end homes and have a keen eye for detail. Additional responsibilities include: meticulous housekeeping, laundry and ironing, occasional care of two dogs, and scheduling and overseeing vendors. They are comfortable with live-out candidates, but are also happy providing separate live-in accommodations (1 bedroom apartment on the property) if that is preferred. There is flexibility to structure the position around the needs of the right candidate who wants to stay long term. All candidates must work well as a team with other staff members. Salary range of $90k – $110k and benefits including health care, 401k plan, and 3 weeks vacation.
