Upper East Side, Hamptons, Connecticut and travel

 

An active family of six, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a second Nanny and help care for their four children ranging in age from toddler through school-aged. Responsibilities include:  school pick up, homework help, creating developmentally savvy games and activities, transporting children to and from activities, coordinating playdates, taking them to the library, sports, museums, etc. and bath/bedtime routine. All candidates who apply must drive, and swim.  Must be tech-savvy to book classes, purchase tickets and items online for children. All candidates must work well, as a team, with the family’s full time Nanny of 10 years. Ideally, candidates should have 5+ years of experience working for a private family in Manhattan. Summers are spent in the Hamptons and Connecticut, so the Nanny must live in and to travel with the family. Travel international is also required. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday2pm – 8pm with flexibility for additional hours. Nanny must work at least one weekend per month. Salary $35 – $45 depending on experience.
