From a young age, Nanny J has surrounded herself with children. She was always the neighborhood babysitter for families in the community. When she attended college in Boston she worked per diem for Boston families in need of her assistance with childcare, all while attending classes at Berklee College of Music. Nanny J’s passion for children has led her to her current path of attending online classes for Child Psychology. She enjoys using her education plus her childcare skills in a private home setting and enjoys working as a private nanny for families.

Nanny J has experience caring for children ages newborn through fifteen years. She has extensive knowledge of child development and milestones, is certified in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid, and has experience working with children with special needs. Previous families have described her as a caring, engaging, responsible, patient, creative, organized, and adaptable. Nanny J is skilled at creating activities and games that are both fun and educational, and she incorporates music, art, and imaginative play into the children’s day. She is skilled at establishing routines and setting rules and boundaries in a caring manner. Jessica always creates a safe, warm and comfortable environment in which children can learn, develop and express themselves.

Nanny J has worked with small boutique agencies in the past who have connected her with various families in need of her assistance. Most recently she worked as a full-time Nanny for the a family for 5 months but the positions hours changed and went from 45 hour to 55+ hours and unfortunately did not work with Nanny J’s schedule.  With that being said, Nanny J is current taking online classes in Child Phycology and is seeking a full-time live out 40 hour nanny position / part time nanny position with a work schedule around 35 hours per week. She is a strong swimmer, tech-savvy, a good cook, can travel and travel lite throughout the year. She excels with tutoring, homework help, and teaching children social skills. She also loves to bring music into the home and can teach guitar, drums and help with piano lessons. She is covid vaccinated. She is in the process of getting her driving license.
