A multigeneration family who own working cattle ranch in Wheatland County, MT., needs to hire a Household and Family Assistant to work as an extra pair of  hands to manage the family’s homes and handling their general upkeep. Responsibilities include:  general housekeeping, family laundry, preparing informal family style meals  approx. 3 nights a week with some light prep for earlier meals, running errands, handling occasional overnights, assisting with some light childcare (i.e. picking the children up from the bus stop), pet care, and any special ad hoc tasks that may arise. This is a large property with a full staff and the family has 4 homes that need overseeing. Must have a valid driver’s license and be a skilled driver. The role asks for someone who can handle harsh winters and be comfortable working closely with domestic animals and spending time around large livestock. The ranch typically operates 7 days a week, mostly between 5am and 6pm, which is dinner time. This person will NOT be expected to work that specific schedule and can have two days off in a row. A private 1 bed/ 1 bath home is provided, with all living expenses covered, including vehicle and phone. Salary:  $3,500 a month Immediate start.
