A busy family of four, with homes in Maryland and Wyoming, needs to hire an engaging and experienced Nanny/Household Assistant to provide care for their two toddlers and assist in the daily upkeep of the family home. Responsibilities include: school pick up, transporting the children to activities, engaging the children in fun & educational play, outings and adventures, handling all child-related cleaning and laundry, as well as assisting with some generally tidying up (no deep cleaning), household organization, helping with family laundry, running errands, traveling with the family, and assisting with light meal prep. Parents are hands on and while the majority of the role is centered around the children, the parents are really are looking for someone who can offer diverse family support. Must be comfortable working in a home with pets and should be lively enough to run around and keep up with very active children, have a valid license and passport, be vaccinated, comfortable in water and have experience caring for children of similar ages. The typical schedule is Monday to Friday with a guaranteed 40 hours (9am to 5pm) but family requires flexibility for extra hours and/or occasional weekends. Salary range: $30-35/hr. base plus OT and a monthly medical stipend. Accommodations are a private bed and bath on a separate floor including a kitchenette.
