Applicant A was referred to Pavillion and the Nanny Authority by one of our long term nannies in the NYC area. Applicant A is a highly trained and skilled educator with a Master’s in Education and Mental Health Counseling and has a thriving career as a special education teacher in the NYC area. Applicant A is a lifelong camper and counselor and her passion for working with children in a professional capacity was fostered by her experiences at camp, in college and through her relationships with neurodivergent individuals in her personal life. Applicant A’s references speak of her true reliability, compassion, organization and her personable nature with students, colleagues, parents and other staff. Children taught by Applicant A often thrive as a result of her instruction and teaching style. Her ability to build relationships with students provides a strong foundation of trust, respect and provides an environment children feel safe to be themselves in which allows them to do their best learning. Applicant A currently works with upper elementary aged children and is a certified NYS educator with both her Students with Disabilities (1-6) and Childhood Education (1-6) certifications. Applicant A is currently seeking a role as an after school tutor and has 5-10 hours of availability for the right family!
