Working parents, in Hudson Square, need to hire an experienced, engaging, and developmentally focused Nanny to care for their infant. Responsibilities include all aspects of daily childcare: establishing & maintaining age-appropriate routines, planning engaging developmental activities, supporting feeding & sleep schedules, preparing healthy meals & snacks, maintaining the child’s areas, sterilizing bottles & toys, handling child’s laundry, organizing enriching outings throughout the city, encouraging socialization, curiosity, and exploration, supporting language acquisition, early learning, emotional development, and preschool readiness as the child grows, incorporating educational opportunities into everyday activities, and providing a thoughtful balance of structured learning, creative play, and outdoor exploration, and traveling with the family a few times a year (including a few weeks during the summer). The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable career nanny with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including long-term positions caring for children from infancy through the preschool years. A background in early childhood education, child development, or a related field is strongly preferred. Candidates should be engaging, energetic, emotionally mature, and confident in establishing consistent routines and age-appropriate boundaries while fostering developmental milestones, independence, and a love of learning. The family is seeking a dedicated, hands-on professional who is comfortable working independently, communicates openly with parents, and brings a thoughtful, structured approach to childcare. Both parents work hybrid schedules, so candidates must be comfortable with parents working from home in their dedicated office spaces. Applicants must be up-to-date on vaccines, be CPR/First Aid certified, city savvy, and have a valid passport. A driver’s license is a plus. Schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm (50 guaranteed hours). Salary range: $38-43 with an OMNY card and possibly health insurance contribution. This is an early January 2027 start, ideally with some overlap with the family’s NCS, but the parents are interviewing and trialing applicants ASAP.
