About 80% of the role will be working alongside a hands-on parent so this person will focus on the home, while parent focuses on the childcare. Children are teenagers and require no real care but do need someone who can keep an eye out for them when home and help shuttle them around after school. Responsibilities include: monitoring developmental milestones, reading & engaging the children in fun, educational, age-appropriate activities & playdates, attending classes, healthy meal preparation for the children, bottle feeding, diapering, cleaning bottles & toys, maintaining sleep &feeding schedules, occasional travel with the family, and child-related housekeeping & laundry. Licensed drivers and capable swimmers are a plus and fully vaccinated is a must. The majority of the daily care will be for the infant, taking over from the baby nurse, who will be with the family until the end of October (when the baby is 6 months), though the eldest two (both in school five days/week) will typically be home in the afternoons. Family will spend much of this summer with family in East Hampton, NY and would like (but not require) someone who is able to join them. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm or 8am to 6pm, with the occasional late night. Ideally a late June or early July start, when the family will be in Easthampton. Option to start September 2 if preferred. Salary range: $33-38/hr. range with a monthly health stipend.

A background in wellness, clean eating, and family-style service is highly valued. This is a full-time position that requires the flexibility to travel between both residences and abroad. Private housing and transportation will be provided. However, if the chef resides in either New York or Los Angeles, they may commute to work when the family is in that location. The chef must be able to drive. The schedule requires flexibility to work 5 days per week including weekends, with two weekdays off. Salary range: 125k- $150,000 plus benefits.
