A family of three, in TriBeCa, needs to hire a full time Housekeeper/ Cook. Responsibilities include: deep cleaning with daily upkeep & organization, running errands, family laundry (including ironing & steaming), making healthy dinners (lean protein, grain, steamed vegetables, etc.), with light prep for other meals and snacks (salad, cut fruit, etc.), and domestic travel with the family about 1 ½ – 2 months out of the year. There is an elementary age child in the home and someone who can offer occasional date night coverage would be wonderful. Applicants must be skilled laundresses and understand the workings of a more formal Manhattan home with strong knowledge of how to care for finer items. Drivers are a plus. Summers are typically spent between additional homes in California and Connecticut. Salary range: $40-45/hr. with a monthly healthy insurance contribution. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 9/10am to 5/6pm. Immediate start.
