A family of four, in Hudson Yards, needs to hire a Live-Out Weekend Nanny to assist with the care of their toddler and newborn. Responsibilities include: caring for both children, with a particular focus on maintaining a consistent feeding and sleep schedule for both the infant and toddler. It is especially important that the nanny supports the family’s sleep training approach at both bedtime and nap times for the infant. The nanny will also be expected to handle all nursery-related tasks, including cleaning the bedrooms, managing the children’s laundry and sanitizing baby equipment such as bottles and the breast pump. Support with sibling acclimation is essential. A strong focus on reaching infant developmental milestones (tummy time, rolling over, speech) is also essential. A passion for creating an engaging learning environment that incorporates both siblings with reading, play activities, etc is critical. Establishing and reinforcing good nutrition habits with both the toddler and infant is also important; the ideal candidate will have knowledge of good nutrition and also support mother with preparing simple, nutritious meals for both children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background supporting experienced mothers and should be knowledgeable in lactation support, as this is a formula-free household. Typical schedule is Friday 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Salary range:  $35 to 40 per hour. Late July start.
