A family, with homes in Florida and California, needs to hire a top-notch, Spanish speaking, career ROTA Nanny to manage the care of their toddler. All responsibilities are childcare related and the family’s ideal applicant will be familiar with the basics of Montessori method and/or be willing to learn. The Nanny will be responsible for planning activities (including researching & booking local classes), engaging in age-appropriate play, monitoring developmental milestones, diapering, bathing, bottle-feeding, sterilizing bottles & toys, maintaining sleep & feeding schedules, and traveling with the family, primarily between their main residences in South Florida and Los Angeles. Other regular annual travel includes 3-6 weeks of the summer in Europe and end of year holiday ski vacations among others. They also have a home in NYC and hope to spend more time there throughout the year. Applicants must have experience caring for children of a similar age and helping them transition through their developmental stages as they grow. Applicants should also have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, have worked in a ROTA role previously, must swim, drive, and have a valid passport. The family also requires that CDC vaccines other than Covid (optional) be up to date. This is a fully staffed home and the Nanny must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with others, and take direction or work independently, when appropriate. There is a small dog in the home, though no care is required. Main residence is in South Florida and accommodations will be provided at all additional residences/ when traveling. The standardized schedule is two weeks on/ two weeks off, typically working 10-12+ hours a day. Salary range: 130-180K or higher, depending on experience.
