Position: Cook, Full Time, Housekeeper, Live In
Location: California

A family of three in the Atherton, California, needs to hire a full-time, live-in Cook/Housekeeper. Responsibilities include: general housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning and linens, cooking, following recipes, and grocery shopping. Driving is a must. On occasion, the candidate will be required to chauffeur a child to school or other extracurricular activities. Cooking consists of preparing healthy dinners 4-5 nights/week for a family of 3 and on occasion guests. Some breakfast and lunch preparation on weekdays. The candidate must be excellent in all aspects of housekeeping and will work in close coordination with a part time cleaner. Ideal candidate has prior experience working in private homes and has a track record of building a relationship with a family and the existing home support team. Private bed and bath provided. Schedule is 40 hours from Monday to Friday with flexibility. Candidate also must have flexibility to work additional hours when the family entertains. Salary is $40 – $45/hour plus health insurance stipend.
