Nanny Full-time Live-in

Morristown, NJ/travel domestic

A large and active family in New Jersey seeks to hire an experienced and nurturing nanny to provide care for two preschool-age children and one toddler.  Children are in school daily from 9am to 3pm, during the week. Duties include but are not limited to, getting children ready for school & evening routine including feeding & bathing, school drop off & pick up, taking children to after-school activities and playdates,  preparing healthy meals for the children, engaging the children in fun & educational play, playing outside, and children’s laundry and organizing.  The ideal candidate must be happy working flexible days and hours, including weekends and some holidays, as well as traveling domestically.  Nanny must be helpful, highly organized, and detail-oriented, as well as incredibly engaging and experienced with toddlers and school-age children. Applicants should have a valid driver’s license, be able to swim, hold a passport, and be up to date on vaccines. The ability to work as a team with other staff is also necessary.  Should be able to swim and be a dog lover. Family offers private apartment accommodations but if applicants live very close, they are open to someone living out. Summers are spent on Long Island. Approximately 55 hours a week (typically 7/7:30am to 6/6:30pm), Wednesday through Sunday schedule. Immediate start and competitive salary within the 100-130K range plus health insurance.
