Nanny, Live in, Full time

Waukegan, IL with ext. US travel

A family of four, in the far Northern suburbs of Chicago, needs to hire a live-in (or local live-out)/ travel Nanny who has the ability to be on the road with them between February 2024 to May 2025.  During this time, the family will be spending 1-4 months in different cities across the U.S. and this would be the great opportunity for someone who has a passion for children and enjoys traveling! The family would love to employ the Nanny beyond this time period but the flexibility to travel those 15 months is imperative. Responsibilities for two active toddlers include:  engaging the children in age-appropriate activities, taking them on excursions and outdoor adventures, playing games, child-related housekeeping & laundry and healthy preparing snacks & meals for the children. Second parent works from home and the family mostly needs coverage Monday to Friday, during their work hours (40 hours guaranteed a week), though there is flexibility to add extra hours/ days and occasional weekend coverage is a big plus! All applicants must be vaccinated. Drivers and swimmer are preferred, as are applicants who have a college degree. Driving would be especially helpful so the Nanny has the ability to explore on their days off. The family will have housing in each location that will include private accommodations for the Nanny. Salary: $30/hr. Late September start.
