A private family household in Cambridge, MA, needs to hire full time Housekeeper.  Housekeeping responsibilities include:  deep cleaning, light maintenance/ upkeep, organization, laundry, ironing, light mending (as needed), maintaining all surfaces (rugs, furniture, drapes, floors, etc.), vacuuming, dusting, using the correct supplies & chemicals, taking out the garbage, doing dishes, watering plants, occasional assistance with meal prep, ensuring the home is well-stocked, running errands, overseeing vendors in the home & scheduling as needed, pet care, care for fine delicate household items, and traveling to the principal’s secondary home (primarily in the summer). Valid license with own transportation required, as is the Covid vaccine and the ability to use a computer. Must work well as a team with the other household staff. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and spend time on your feet. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. Salary range: $30-35/hr. with a generous benefits package including health insurance and 401(k) plan. November start.
