Upper East Side, Hamptons, Connecticut and travel

 

An active family of six, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire full charge Housekeeper to care for their home. Responsibilities include:  deep cleaning, laundry, ironing, household organization, running errands, tracking inventory, supervising vendors/repair workers. pet care (dog) and light child care assistance of youngest child in the morning. All candidates who apply must have experience working in fine homes caring for fine furnishing, delicate materials/clothing, polishing silver, caring for china etc. Housekeeper must be meticulous and high caliber and perform museum quality cleaning. Serving experience is a huge plus and the housekeeper must be flexible to work with chef for dinner parties and entertaining. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience working for a private family. Must drive and be comfortable driving a large SUV in the city and in suburbs. Summers are spent in the Hamptons and Connecticut, so the housekeeper must live in and to travel with the family. Travel international is also a plus. The ideal individual will be non-obtrusive and have a calm and collective personality. The family enjoys a clean, neat and quiet home. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday 7/7:30am – 5pm  with flexibility for additional hours. Salary $40 – $55 depending on experience plus benefits.  Immediate start for the right person.
