Upper West Side and Sag Harbor

A family of four (soon to be five), with homes on the Upper West Side and Sag Harbor, needs to hire a developmentally savvy, engaging, and energetic career Nanny to care for their children (one toddler and one elementary school age). Responsibilities include: monitoring milestones & planning age-appropriate activities to support growth, engaging the children in developmental activities & taking the children on outings, school drop off & pick up, escorting the children to afterschool activities, handling the children’s busy calendars, child-related laundry & housekeeping, cooking nutritious meals for the children, bed & bath routines, traveling with the family (particularly during the summer to Sag Harbor), and any child relate errands or special projects that may arise. The Family requires that all applicants be licensed experienced drivers, be able to swim, and be vaccinated (including Covid). Applicants must also be well-versed in infant care, though the nanny will not be expected to take over full charge of the baby until mid-2023. Parents also employ a part-time nanny for extra childcare support. A related degree or education experience would be a big plus. The typical schedule is 8:30am to 7/7:30pm, though the nanny should be flexible for a late night here or there. Salary range: $30-40/hr.  + a health insurance stipend and MetroCard. Ideally, want someone who can start end of January.
