A business woman, on the Upper East Side, is seeking a part time Personal Assistant to join the team. Responsibilities include acting as a liaison managing communications (phone, email, in-person) with high-level contacts in philanthropy, the arts, social circles, and household staff, ensuring timely responses, follow-ups, thank-you notes, and the delivery of gifts when appropriate.
Calendar management, booking travel both professional and personal, project and event management, and office and household assistance, working with household contractor (NYC brownstone), subcontractors (HVAC, cable, electrical etc.) and vendors (floral, dry cleaning etc.) for primary home and other residence maintenance work with interior designers, architects, builders on personal real estate renovation projects, supervising nannies, cleaners, drivers and other episodic hires such as chefs, caterers, assistance with international family travel, event & reunion planning balance commercial and private travel securing restaurant, theater and other reservations scheduling medical and dental appointments and maintaining records thereof.
The ideal candidate will possess superior communication skills, a polished and adaptable style, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks with confidentiality and discretion. This role requires someone who is self-motivated, organized, and enjoys working in a dynamic home environment while supporting both personal and professional goals. The schedule is flexible for the right person working 25 – 40 hours per week, depending upon what the candidate is seeking. Salary range: $50 – $60/hour. Immediate start.
