This amazing candidate  is a recent honors Health Science graduate from Northeastern University in Boston who recently relocated to Washington D.C. and is seeking a full-time live-out Nanny/Family Assistant position. She has always loved working with children and found herself babysitting children from a young age. During her schooling, she worked for families as their part-time Nanny as well as held multiple full-time Summer Nanny positions, and has experience caring for children from infancy to school-aged.

Nanny RG believes the most important part of being a nanny is fostering a warm, educational environment for the child/children to grow. She ensures the children she cares for are aware of others’ feelings, able to express their own feelings and thoughts in a productive manner, and have an environment conducive to exploring themselves and any interests they may have. These themes create the foundation of her childcare philosophy. She  believes in a more child-centered philosophy or experiential learning approach which focuses on the child’s interests and social curiosity. She believes this model fosters more independence, collaboration, and initiative in children rather than instilling the rigid model of children following a pre-set plan.
