A family of four, in TriBeCa, needs to hire an educated, active, and developmentally focused Mandarin-speaking Nanny to care for their two children- a young toddler and one pre-kindergarten age. Responsibilities include: engaging with children and planning educational & fun activities, supplementing learning with at-home activities (i.e. teaching numbers, alphabet, colors, basic math, reading, etc.), school & activity pick up/ drop off,   traveling with the family, child related housekeeping & laundry, preparing healthy meals & snacks for the children, diapering, potty training, assisting with evening routine, and ideally being able to run errands and take on more family assistant duties once both children are in school next year. The family wants candidates with a college degree, 10+ years of experience, strong communication skills, valid driver’s license & passport.  All candidates must be full vaccinated. Teaching experience is a big plus. On days when there is school, the schedule is Monday to Friday 12 to 8pm, with the requirement of full day (8-8) coverage when children are not in class. Flexibility for an occasional late nights is required. Salary range: $40-50/hr. plus a monthly health insurance stipend and MetroCard. Immediate start.
